I was asked for an honest review free of persuasion from the author or anyone else affiliated with this book.
Tricia Copeland has never failed to entertain me. I loved her Being Me Series and Drops of Sunshine.
The Kingdom of Embers; Kingdom Journals Volume 1 was a unique blend of vampires and witches that I never saw coming.
The beginning of the book was a slow start, but once I got into the book I could not put it down. It had that uncommon and mysterious feeling only a book that wraps you in could bring. By the end of the book I was wanting to know more and more of the story and why the characters were behaving the way they were.
This book was a good read for anyone who is into vampires who can go out into the sun and NOT sparkle! I am a big fan of that! I recommend Kingdom of Embers to anyone above the ages of 13 and up!
