CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS

Hidden Souls by J.P. Uvalle starts out with Detective Xandra Kallan working on a case of 7 mysterious cases of appearances of young girls.  With her partner and ex boyfriend Liam Hendrik  who is still in love with her and trying to get back with her.  But, when she gives in her world comes crashing down around her, and the  mistakes of  past generations come back to haunt her.  As the truth starts to come out, so does the truth about Liam. Will they be able to stop the destruction that is coming closer to them and the town they call home?  Will Xandra make the right decision when it comes between who she is supposed to be with and who she wants to be with?  How will she be able to survive the aftermath of everything that has happened?

This book was a grab your butt and hold you until you finished it.  It was a creepy, action packed book that sent the hairs on your neck up.  It got confusing with all of the characters coming in and going throughout the book.  I was well written and an excellent read.  I just felt that the author could have made the book better by keeping the character numbers shorter. I am seriously wanting to finish the series, but just hoping for a little less people in the rest of the books.
